"Lawmen: Bass Reeves" is a new TV show executive produced by Taylor Sheridan.
The show follows the story of Bass Reeves, the first Black U.S. Deputy Marshal west of the Mississippi.
Reeves arrested over 3,000 outlaws but struggled with the moral and spiritual cost to his family.
The show stars David Oyelowo, Dennis Quaid, Forrest Good luck, Lauren E. Banks, Barry Pepper, Grantham Coleman, Demi Singleton, Donald Sutherland, and Garrett Hedlund.
The first two episodes of the series will premiere on Paramount+ on Sunday, November 5.
New content is usually added to Paramount+ at 3:00 a.m. ET.
